ABOUT OAK FARM
Oak Farm is a 70 acre holding in Harpsden Bottom, near Henley-on-Thames in the idyllic Harpsden Valley.
Home to the Austin family for the last 30 years, 3 generations live and work on the farm.
Our farming activities include:
-
Sheep rearing and sales. We have a flock of around 100 breeding ewes and are expanding the whole time.
-
Conservation: we have undertaken a massive conservation project spanning the whole of the farm - re creating it's boundaries to those of a rare 16th century map.
-
Horse grazing: To supplement farm income and for conservation purposes, horses also graze the land.
-
Forestry: We have acres of young, deciduous forest and acres of new hedgerow.
-
Farm sales: In the form of lamb and mutton and other farm products.
